Bermuda Hogges captain Kwame Steede and Stephen Astwood were named in the USL2 team of the week thanks to their impressive displays for the Hogges win over Wilmington.

When asked about the feat, co-owner Paul Scope said: "it was terrific to bounce back from the painful 0-6 defeat to Charlotte, with a winning home season debut. An added bonus for us was to have our two goalscorers, Kwame Steede and Steven Astwood, voted to the USL-2 Team of the Week."

The win was the Hogges first of the season after only two games, whereas last year it took them ten games to notch their first home win. The two goals were each players first of the season with Steede’s being a rocket from all of 35 yards out. Stephen Astwood continues his impressive run after last year also being named in the USL2 team of the year.
